50-Line Jacks or Better

50-Line Jacks or Better

Take a great video poker like Jacks or Better and make it 50 times more exciting. That's exactly what Betfair Casino has done with 50-Line Jacks or Better. Every time you play a round, you have 50 chances of getting a winning combination on your five-card poker hands as you play 50 lines at once.

Each line is played with a separate deck of cards and any wins on different lines are treated separately. For example, if you have nine wins on different lines, then the value of those wins will be added together.

The lowest winning combination on 50-Lines Jacks or Better is a pair of Jacks. There are higher value combinations though, which you can check on the paytable at any time by clicking on the Paytable button at the bottom of the screen. The highest winning combination is a Royal Flush and if you bet the maximum number of five coins per line, you can win 4000 x your line bet with a Royal Flush.

To play is easy. First, choose your coin value by clicking the + or - button at the bottom right of the screen. Coins range from 25p to £1 on 50-Line Jacks or Better, so your minimum bet per round will be £12.50 and the maximum bet is £50.00. Next choose how many coins you wish to bet with, by clicking on Bet One to add a coin or by clicking on Bet Max to play the maximum five coins.

Now you're ready to play. Click on Deal and you'll see a five-card hand. Choose which, if any, of the cards you wish to hold and then click Deal again. Any wins will be marked under each hand - with fifty lines on the screen, it can be pretty difficult to spot all the wins yourself!

And if you get a win, it doesn't stop there, as you can then play to double up your win. When you get a win, you'll see a new window, offering you the chance to Double, Double Half or Collect. This means you can either collect your win and play a new round or go into a double up round with all or half of your original win. Playing double up is really simple. The dealer has one card that is face-up and you are dealt four cards face-down. All you need to do to double your win is to choose a card that has a higher value than the dealer's. If it's lower than the dealer's card, then you lose your original win, but if it's the same value, then you can choose whether to play a fresh double up round or collect your original win.

As you click Deal for the second time, it can be really exciting to watch all the hands being dealt - especially if you've held some good cards from the first deal, as they're held over each of the fifty lines. Wins can multiply rapidly, and if you're lucky on the double up rounds, you can win some really great cash prizes.

The great thing about 50-Line Jacks or Better is that you can also play just for the fun of it, by clicking on Practice when you first start the game. This is great for people who haven't played video poker before, or for the times when you don't have any real cash to play with. And you can switch to playing for real cash at any time.
