Like all versions of Roulette you can play at the Betfair Casino, the object of the game is to predict where the ball will come to rest on the Roulette wheel. The Roulette wheel in Premium French Roulette consists of numbers 1 through 36, alternately coloured red and black, plus 0, which is green.
To play the game:

Please click on a chip of the chosen value to select it.

Place your bet. The minimum and maximum bet limits are dependent on your VIP level at the Betfair Casino. If you would like detailed information on bet limits then please see the Premium French Roulette Rules section. Every time you click on the betting area the casino adds one chip of the selected value to the bet.

To place your bet just click on a number or betting area on the Roulette table.

If you want to place a Neighbour Bet or an Announce Bet then you'll need to do so from the corresponding menu.
To place a Neighbour Bet:-
Open the Neighbour Bets panel by clicking the Neighbour Bets button in the lower right of the game window.

Once on the opened panel, select the number where you want to place your bet on the Roulette wheel.

Choose the number of Neighbours you want on both sides of the selected number. You do this by clicking the respective number button (1, 2, 3 or 4) in the array, which is placed under the Roulette wheel model.

The Numbers field displays the numbers that are involved in the Neighbour Bet.

The Total Bet field displays the total Neighbour Bet - this the sum of bets placed on each number involved in the Neighbour Bet.

You can place more than one Neighbour Bet on any one spin.

To remove an undesired Neighbour Bet then please click on Clear.

When you have placed all your desired Neighbour Bets, please click Close to exit the Neighbour Bets panel.
To place an Announce Bet:-
Open the Announce Bets panel by clicking the Announce Bets button in the lower right of the game window. If you are unsure of Announce bets then please check out the Premium French Roulette Rules section at the bottom of the page.

On the opened panel, you can choose your bet for the desired Announce Bet by clicking on the field corresponding to the Announce Bet. Every time you click your bet increases (left-click) or decreases (right-click) the Announce Bet, which you can see by the coin currently selected in the main game window.

The Roulette table model will show the numbers involved in the Announce Bet.

You can place more than one Announce Bets on every one spin.

When you have placed all your desired Announce Bets, click Close to exit the Announce Bets panel.

If you'd like to increase the bet by another amount, select another chip and click on the desired betting area.

Each time you right-click on a betting area, it will remove one chip of the same value as the selected chip from the bet, or the entire bet if the selected chip is greater in value than the bet placed.

You can place many chips into different betting areas simultaneously.

If a timer is shown on the Roulette table you only have a limited time to place your bets. At the end of this time, all bets on the table will be set as final and no new bets will be accepted for this spin.

If there is no timer on your Roulette table then it does not have a timer. You will then have to click Spin to set the ball spinning after you have placed your bets. Clicking Clear Bets will remove all the placed bets from the table. After a spin you can click Rebet if you'd like to place the same bet as during the previous spin, then just click onSpin to set the process in motion again.
Multiplayer and Private Group Modes:
In Multiplayer and Private Group Modes you'll find several players will sit at the same table. You are able to join or create a group that up to two other players can join and play. To join a group, you'll need to know its name. Type the group name into the box and then click Join. If no group by that name exists, a new one will be created for you. Other people will be able to join this group if they know the group name.

Towards the bottom of the game window you'll find the Betfair Casino toolbar. This contains the following:-
Current balance
Your account balance. The Betfair Casino keeps you u to date with the amount of money you have in your account at all times.

Cashier
Clicking on this button opens the Cashier window. In here you can make deposits and withdrawls from your account as well as checking out your transaction history et al.

Chat
Clicking on the chat facility will allow you to talk to others. A black strip next to the chat button will turn into a text box and in here you can type your message and to send simply press chat again. Doing this opens a new chat window.. Please note: You can only chat to other uses when you are playing multi-player games at the Betfair Casino.

Menu
Under the Menu function you'll find three important functions of the Betfair
Casino
Viewing the games history is easy. Just click on the History
button (this is available in both
online and offline mode) This opens a window where you can read the latest
results from the game which you are currently playing.
Clicking on
Options gives you several ways to enhance your Betfair Casino experience
including audio setting and various gameplay settings. Help opens the help
article that accompanies the game which you are reading right now.
Online Support lets you contact a Betfair Casino customer support specialist, as long as one is available.

Close/Lobby
Clicking this button will return to the Betfair Casino Lobby and close your current gaming window. If you have Multiwindow support setup and enabled (this is where games are opened in new windows), the button will say Close. If Multiwindow support is not setup or disabled (your games are opened in the same window as the Lobby), then the button will say Lobby. You can easily enable or disable this feature in the options menu discussed in the previous paragraph.

Note on large wins: If you are lucky (or skillful) enough to win more than £10,000 then this will need to be varified by a live operator as the Betfair Casino regards this as a high win.
Note on malfunctions: A malfunction voids all pays and plays.
Note on disconnections: If your internet connection fails on you and you are disconnected from the Internet in the middle of a game while playing for Real Money then don't panic. Just re-establish your Internet connection and log back into the Betfair Casino lobby. Then click History and you'll see the result of your previous round and if you've won then your winning will be added to your account.
