Betfair Casino are proud to offer six deck Blackjack. If you are not familiar with Blackjack, proceed straight to the Blackjack Rules which you'll be able to find at the bottom of the page. When you are prepared and ready to play then please return to this page.

To play the game:

To place your bet then use the chips on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. Each time you click on a chip it will increase you bet by one amount of that betting chipt. Every right click on a chip on the table removes it from your bet.

Click the Deal button.

If the dealer finds an ace as his up card, the Casino will offer you insurance. If you wish to take Insurance then click on the Insurance button.

Use the Hit, Stand, Double and Split buttons as required.

Please note that when you are using Insurance, Double and Split, this will require an additional wager, as described in the rules. If you do not have sufficient funds then these options will not be available to you.

If you wish to play another round, press simple click on New Game. Then place a bet as described above and click the Deal button, if you would like to place exactly the same bet then simply click Rebet

Multihand:

You can also play Blackjack in Multihand mode. If you would like to do this then select "Multihand" in the Betfair Casino lobby when entering Blackjack. You can play with up to three hands simultaneously. To place a bet, select a chip by clicking on it, then decide which betting area you want to place your bet in then click on it. Every click on the bet area increases your bet as described before. To play with two hands, place bets in two bet areas, to play with three hands, place bets in three bet areas. Even in Multihand mode you can just play with one hand, to do this just place chips in one betting area.

Multiplayer and Private Group Modes:

In Multiplayer and Private Group Modes you are able to play at the same table with other people. If you would like to join a Private Group then you'll you need to know the name of the group.

Keep in mind that:

After a period of inactivity the player will see a 15 second countdown. If the table still sees no action from the player during the countdown, the player will automatically either make a stand or skip his/her turn.

If a player loses Internet connection during gameplay, the player is removed from the table. For the other players on the table the game will continue as per usual.

Buttons:

Deal	Deal out the cards.
Insurance	Protect your bet for the case when the dealer may have blackjack (see Rules for more info).
Double	Double the wager and gives you a third card.
Hit	Request one more card.
Stand	Draw no more cards and start the dealer's turn.
New Game	Start a new game round.
Rebet	Place the same bet as in the previous round and deal the cards.
Skip Turn	Skip your turn when you are playing in multiplayer mode.
Split	Split one hand into two separate hands.

Towards the bottom of the game window you'll find the Betfair Casino toolbar. This contains the following:

• Current balance

Your account balance. The Betfair Casino keeps you u to date with the amount of money you have in your account at all times.

• Cashier

Clicking on this button opens the Cashier window. In here you can make deposits and withdrawls from your account as well as checking out your transaction history et al.

• Chat

Clicking on the chat facility will allow you to talk to others. A black strip next to the chat button will turn into a text box and in here you can type your message and to send simply press chat again. Doing this opens a new chat window.. Please note: You can only chat to other uses when you are playing multi-player games at the Betfair Casino.

• Menu

Under the Menu function you'll find three important functions of the Betfair Casino

Viewing the games history is easy. Just click on the History button (this is available in both online and offline mode) This opens a window where you can read the latest results from the game which you are currently playing.

Clicking on Options gives you several ways to enhance your Betfair Casino experience including audio setting and various gameplay settings. Help opens the help article that accompanies the game which you are reading right now.

Online Support lets you contact a Betfair Casino customer support specialist, as long as one is available.

• Close/Lobby

Clicking this button will return to the Betfair Casino Lobby and close your current gaming window. If you have Multiwindow support setup and enabled (this is where games are opened in new windows), the button will say Close. If Multiwindow support is not setup or disabled (your games are opened in the same window as the Lobby), then the button will say Lobby. You can easily enable or disable this feature in the options menu discussed in the previous paragraph.

Shortcut keys

If you wish, you can press the following keys on your keyboard instead of clicking on the buttons on the screen.

Press this key	To do this
TAB	Tab between the buttons on the screen.
ENTER	Click the button that is currently highlighted.
SPACEBAR	Place your previous bet, press again to spin the wheel as well.
Number keys	Select a chip. Different number keys select different chips. The number of functioning keys depends on the chips allowed for the current player and can be subject to change.
ESC	Exit the game and go back to the lobby.

Note on large wins: If you are lucky (or skillful) enough to win more than £10,000 then this will need to be varified by a live operator as the Betfair Casino regards this as a high win.

Note on malfunctions: A malfunction voids all pays and plays.

Note on disconnections: If your internet connection fails on you and you are disconnected from the Internet in the middle of a game while playing for Real Money then don't panic. Just re-establish your Internet connection and log back into the Betfair Casino lobby. Then click History and you'll see the result of your previous round and if you've won then your winning will be added to your account.
